These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of tickets for participation in the \u201cWLCG\/HSF Workshop 2026\u201d (the \u201cEvent\u201d or \u201cWorkshop\u201d) through this website.<\/a> By placing an order, the customer (\u201cParticipant\u201d, \u201cCustomer\u201d, \u201cYou\u201d) requests to purchase one or more tickets granting access to the Event on the dates, venue and conditions specified on the Event product page and during the checkout process.<\/a> The WLCG\/HSF Workshop 2026 will take place in Bologna (Italy)<\/strong> from 2 to 6 November 2026<\/strong>, according to the programme and timetable published on the official Event page and\/or in the documentation made available to Participants.<\/a> Ticket prices are indicated on the Event page in euro (EUR) and include VAT, where applicable, unless expressly stated otherwise.<\/a> To purchase a ticket, the Customer selects the desired ticket, fills in the required data and completes the payment by using one of the payment methods available at checkout.<\/a> Payments are processed through the electronic payment systems indicated at checkout (such as credit\/debit card or other electronic means).<\/a> Once payment has been completed, the Customer will receive by e\u2011mail a confirmation of registration and, where applicable, a ticket, QR code and\/or instructions on how to access and register onsite at the Event.<\/a> Participants must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Organiser may refuse entry or require a Participant to leave the Event if their behaviour endangers safety, disrupts the Event or fails to comply with the applicable rules and instructions, without any right to a refund of the ticket price.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Under European and Italian consumer law, there is no statutory right of withdrawal (\u201cright to reconsider\u201d) for leisure services with a specific date or period of performance<\/strong>, such as cultural, entertainment or conference events for which tickets are purchased for a fixed date. This does not affect any rights the Customer may have in the event of cancellation or substantial modification of the Event by the Organiser, as described below.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n In the event of full cancellation<\/strong> of the Event for reasons attributable to the Organiser and where no alternative dates are offered, the Customer will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price, in accordance with the \u201cCancellation and refund policy\u201d section published by the Organiser. The contract is concluded remotely between Coopit, acting as a professional, and the Participant, who may act as consumer or professional depending on their status under applicable law.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n3. Event details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The Organiser reserves the right to make minor changes to the programme (including, but not limited to, schedule adjustments, replacement of speakers, re\u2011ordering of sessions), without altering the overall nature of the Event.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n4. Prices and invoicing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
If you require an invoice, you must provide complete and correct billing details at the time of purchase; otherwise, the Organiser may not be able to issue an invoice after the order has been completed.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n5. Purchase process and conclusion of the contract<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The contract is deemed concluded when the payment is successfully authorised and the Customer receives an order confirmation e\u2011mail with a summary of the purchase.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n6. Payment methods<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The payment service provider may carry out security checks and refuse the transaction; in such a case, the order will not be completed and no ticket will be issued.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n7. Ticket \/ access credentials<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Unless otherwise specified, each ticket is personal. Any ticket holder must be able to prove their identity on request. Name changes, where allowed, are subject to the Organiser\u2019s prior approval and to any applicable administrative procedures or deadlines communicated by the Organiser.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n8. 9. No right of withdrawal (cooling\u2011off period)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The purchase of tickets for the WLCG\/HSF Workshop 2026 falls within this category, since the Event takes place on fixed dates (2\u20136 November 2026 in Bologna). Therefore, once the purchase has been completed, the Customer is not entitled to withdraw from the contract free of charge within 14 days<\/strong> simply because they have changed their mind.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n10. Cancellation, postponement or modification of the Event by the Organiser<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
In the event of postponement or change of dates<\/strong> due to force majeure, safety reasons, decisions by public authorities or other organisational reasons, the Organiser will inform Participants via e\u2011mail and\/or by publishing a notice on the Event website.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
